            The Character Growth Index

CGI (2014) is the only brief, valid measure of individual student character. CGI was developed by Dr. Mark Liston with help from Dr. Marvin Berkowitz and Dr. Tom Lickona. The validated version measured 11 strengths and 5 more have been added. CGI is sponsored by the Center for Character and Citizenship at the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
