  Character Becomes our Destiny

An adolescent judge challenged us to develop a character education program that would change lives.  Well, we love a challenge!  Four years, hundreds of thousands of dollars, and lots of research were invested.  The result is:  

C2:  Character Challenge  

Your teens will love this stuff!  Each session has 25 minutes of movie clips from current movies as part of the 75-90 minute session.  Imagine "Lord of the Rings" illustrating discernment, "Pirates of the Caribbean" for integrity, and forgiveness being taught by "Spiderman 3".  That’s what this material is about:  Timeless truths taught with timely images.

  How C2 is Changing Lives

C2 is designed for the most challenging teens: those “at risk” of dropping out or flunking out, drug users, bullies, and the violent.   

Yes, they can be helped. C2 graduates tend to stay in school, do their homework, stop using drugs, stop violent behavior, and change friends. C2 gives them the foundation for life they are not getting at home.

Traditionally, the students in this age group who lack character don’t respond well to character character education. It seems to remind them of their failure and it’s not “cool.”  So we targeted them in designing the material, looking for ways to motivate them.
